A plain print reproduces a painting photographically, so the brushwork is an image of brushwork on a flat surface. The palette is a strong commitment, and worth being clear about. Orange, gold, black and white in large blocks is not a quiet piece. It will anchor a neutral room and give a beige or grey scheme somewhere for the eye to go, but it is not artwork that recedes.

If your room already has strong colour, this will compete rather than complement. In a room of neutrals, it does exactly what it is meant to.

Now the honest part, and the listing states it plainly rather than hiding it: no two pieces are identical, and yours will not be a perfect replica of the photograph.

That is inherent to hand-painted work rather than a defect. The composition and palette will match, but the exact edges of each colour block, the thickness of the paint, and the precise shapes will differ. Some people find that the appeal, since it means the piece is genuinely one of a kind. Others expect the photograph and are disappointed.

Knowing which you are is the single most useful thing to decide before ordering.
