Mirrors
A mirror lives or dies on two things: the actual clarity of the glass and how sturdy the mounting hardware is, and neither of those show up clearly in a product photo. We’re checking for genuine glass (not a cheaper acrylic substitute marketed to look the same), distortion at the edges, and whether the included hardware can actually support the mirror’s real weight once it’s on your wall. Floor mirrors get evaluated on base stability too, since a mirror that rocks or leans awkwardly is more than just annoying — it’s a safety issue in a house with kids or pets.
