IP54 Waterproof Cordless Table Lamp, Gold 2 Pack

Why we picked it

Every gold table lamp we’ve covered so far plugs into the wall. This one doesn’t, and that single difference changes what it’s actually for. A cordless, rechargeable lamp with an IP54 rating can sit on a patio table, a picnic table, or anywhere else without an outlet nearby, which a corded touch lamp simply can’t do regardless of how nice its finish is. That makes this a different buying decision rather than a redundant alternative to an indoor bedside lamp already covered on the site.

The battery figures are worth checking against each other, since a listing stating both capacity and runtime lets you verify one against the other rather than taking either on faith. At 5000mAh and a nominal 3.7V Li-ion cell voltage, the lamp is storing roughly 18.5 watt-hours of energy. The stated runtime range of 8 to 40 hours, depending on brightness, implies a power draw of about 2.3 watts at the highest setting and around 0.46 watts at the lowest. That’s roughly a 5x range in actual power draw against a stated 10x dimming range (100% down to 10%), which isn’t a red flag: LEDs rarely draw power in a straight line with perceived brightness, since there’s a minimum current needed just to keep the diode lit at all. The numbers are internally consistent, which is more than most battery-powered lighting listings let you check.

Charging is worth a similar check. Refilling a 5000mAh battery in the stated 4 to 5 hours implies a charge rate of roughly 1,000 to 1,250 mA, which is a normal rate for USB-C charging rather than an inflated fast-charge claim that the hardware likely can’t back up.

IP54 is a real, defined standard: it means the lamp is protected against dust and against water splashing from any direction, which covers light rain or an accidental spill on a patio table. It does not mean submersion-proof or built to sit uncovered through a heavy storm, so it’s worth setting that expectation correctly before buying it specifically for exposed outdoor use.

One claim worth treating with a raised eyebrow: the listing describes this as a “Patented Products” item with no patent number attached. Without a number to check, that’s a claim we can’t verify, so we’re noting it rather than repeating it as fact.
