Outside measurements tell you whether a nightstand fits your room. They tell you nothing about what fits inside it, because carcass thickness, drawer walls and runners all eat into the space. Giving the drawer size directly is the difference between guessing and knowing.

The woven rattan fronts are the design story, and they behave differently from a solid panel. Cane is an open weave, so the drawer fronts have visual texture and a degree of transparency that a flat front cannot offer, and the natural fiber warms up a room full of hard surfaces.

Two things follow from that. Cane collects dust in the weave and wants a soft brush rather than a cloth. And because it is open, whatever sits immediately behind the front is faintly visible in strong light, so these drawers are better for folded items than for a jumble of loose objects.

Cane is also the most fragile element on any piece of furniture that uses it. It dents under a sharp knock and can split if something is pushed through it, so it is not a surface to lean on or let a pet climb.

Rounded corners are worth a mention, since a nightstand sits at exactly the height where a hip or a child’s head meets it in the dark. Rounding the edges turns a sharp collision into a glancing one, and it costs nothing.

On sizing, 25.59 inches suits a mattress top of roughly 23.6 to 27.6 inches. That covers a standard bed with a thicker mattress or a topper, and it sits between the shorter units in this category and the tall ones built for storage beds.

The top surface is around 360 square inches, which is generous, and the unit weighs 41.2 pounds, which points to reasonable material thickness.

Two omissions: no weight capacity is published, and the charging station is described only as having a charging station and USB ports, without stating how many outlets, how many USB ports, or which types. Given that USB-C is now standard on most devices, that is worth confirming.
