Resin Base Touch Lamps, Set of 2, 23 Inch Warm White Bulbs
What we like
Warm 3200K bulbs included, so unlike most touch lamps you don’t need to replace them.
Worth knowing
The listing calls the same bulbs both warm white and daylight, which can’t both be true.

Why we picked it
Touch lamps with USB ports are a crowded category, and most of them ship with the wrong bulbs. Cool white LEDs are cheaper to produce and look brighter in a photograph, which is why so many bedside lamps arrive at 5000K, a colour temperature that belongs in an office rather than beside a bed.
This one includes 3200K bulbs, which is properly warm. That is the single most useful difference here, because it means you can use these as they arrive rather than buying replacements before the lamps are usable at night.
It also publishes a CRI figure, at 85 plus, and almost no lamp listing does. Colour rendering index measures how accurately a light source shows colour compared to natural daylight. Below about 80, colours look flat and slightly wrong, skin tones in particular. Above 85 is genuinely good for a domestic light, and it is the kind of specification that separates a considered product from a generic one.
The removable shade is a small thing that matters over years. Fabric shades collect dust, and on most lamps you are limited to running a vacuum brush over them in place. A shade that detaches can be cleaned properly, which is why lamps tend to look tired long before they stop working.
Now the contradiction worth knowing about. One bullet specifies a 7W 3200K warm white bulb. A later bullet says the supplied bulbs are a daylight natural light source, matched to the beige shade. Those are different things, since daylight bulbs run 5000K and above, and a bulb cannot be both.
Our reading is that 3200K is the accurate figure, because it is the more specific claim and it appears alongside the wattage. But if warm light is the reason you are buying these, check the bulbs on arrival rather than assuming. If they turn out cold, the fitting is E26 and the listing gives a 60W maximum, so warm replacements are straightforward.
One thing to get right if you do swap: the replacements must be dimmable. Touch dimming works by varying current, and a non-dimmable LED responds with flicker or an audible buzz. The listing says this itself, which is more than most do.
On the practical side, the USB-A and USB-C ports run at 5V/2.1A and stay live when the lamp is off, which is what makes a bedside charging lamp worth having. And the resin base at 13 inches wide is substantial, so this needs a reasonably sized nightstand rather than a narrow one.

The honest take
What we like
- 3200K warm bulbs included, so no replacement needed for bedside use
- Publishes an 85+ CRI figure, which almost no lamp listing does
- Shade detaches for proper cleaning rather than surface dusting
- USB ports stay live when the lamp is off
- States that replacement bulbs must be dimmable, which most listings omit
- Gives a specific 60W maximum rather than leaving it unstated
Worth knowing
- The listing describes the same bulbs as both warm white and daylight
- 13 inch base needs a reasonably sized nightstand
- 5V/2.1A is standard charging speed, not fast charging
- No AC outlet, so anything with a plug needs a wall socket
- Cord length and warranty term are not specified
