Round LED Smart Mirror 24 Inch, Bluetooth Anti Fog
What we like
IP54 is a measurable standard, unlike the vague moisture resistance most mirrors claim.
Worth knowing
A built-in speaker adds a component that will likely outlive its usefulness.

Why we picked it
IP54 is the specification that separates this from every other mirror we have covered.
Most bathroom mirrors claim to be moisture resistant, which means nothing measurable. IP ratings are a defined international standard, and the two digits describe different things. The 5 means protection against dust ingress sufficient to prevent interference with operation. The 4 means protection against water splashing from any direction.
For an electrical product in a bathroom, that is the difference between a tested claim and a hopeful one. It does not mean the mirror can be hosed down or fitted inside a shower enclosure, but splashes from a basin, and the steam of a daily shower, are within what it is built to handle.
Front lighting is the right choice here, and worth distinguishing from backlit-only mirrors. An open LED strip on the mirror’s face puts light directly on you, surrounding the reflection so it lights your face evenly rather than casting the downward shadows a ceiling fixture gives.
A backlit mirror produces a lovely halo on the wall and no useful light on your face. This one does the functional job, which is why the listing can reasonably talk about shadow-free makeup and shaving.
The dimming indicator is a small detail worth noticing. The light flashes when you reach 10 percent minimum or 100 percent maximum, so you know you have hit the end of the range rather than wondering whether the touch control has stopped responding. That is the kind of thing you only appreciate after using a dimmer without it.
5mm tempered glass with anti-oxidation properties is a solid specification. The thickness resists the flex that distorts reflections on thinner glass, tempering handles safety, and anti-blackening refers to resisting the corrosion at the silvering that eventually spots older bathroom mirrors.
Now the Bluetooth speaker, which deserves an honest assessment. It works, it is convenient, and playing something while you get ready is genuinely pleasant.
But it is also the component most likely to date. Bluetooth standards move, phone pairing behaviour changes, and a speaker built into a mirror cannot be upgraded or replaced. A portable speaker costs little, sounds better, and can be replaced in five years when this one is refusing to pair with a new phone.
If the speaker is why you are buying, weigh that. If it is a bonus on a mirror you would want anyway, it costs you nothing.
The same logic applies to the mirror as a whole: LEDs, defogger, touch controls and a speaker are four things that can fail on a product where none of them are replaceable. Plain mirrors last decades. Smart mirrors last as long as their electronics.
Dual power supply supports plug-in or hardwired, and as with any electrical mirror, settle the supply before choosing placement.

The honest take
What we like
- IP54 is a measurable standard, not a vague moisture resistance claim
- Front lighting puts light on your face, unlike backlit only mirrors
- 5mm glass is thick enough not to flex and distort once mounted
- Anti blackening addresses the silvering corrosion that spots old mirrors
- Dimming indicator tells you when you have reached the end of the range
- Memory function recalls your last brightness and colour setting
Worth knowing
- The Bluetooth speaker cannot be upgraded and will date before the mirror does
- Four electronic systems, none of them replaceable if one fails
- IP54 handles splashes and steam, not direct spray or shower enclosures
- Needs a power supply, which dictates placement
- Weight and mounting hardware are not published
