Why we picked it
A round mirror does something to a room that a rectangle cannot, and it is worth understanding before choosing between them.
Interiors are overwhelmingly rectangular. Doors, windows, cabinets, tiles, worktops and the room itself are all built from straight lines and right angles. A circle has no alignment to get wrong and no edge that competes with those lines, which is why a round mirror settles into a busy wall where a rectangle would add yet another set of corners.
It also has no orientation. Rectangles and arches force a decision about vertical or horizontal; a circle simply hangs.
At 30 inches this is the largest round mirror we have covered, and size matters more on a circle than a rectangle. A small round mirror reads as an accent, almost a porthole. At 30 inches it becomes a genuine feature, wide enough to reflect a useful amount of the room behind you, which is what makes round mirrors effective at making a hallway or small bathroom feel less enclosed.
Aluminium is the right frame material for a mirror sold for bathrooms. It does not rust at all, which is a property of the metal rather than a coating that can be scratched through. Unlike the wood-framed mirrors elsewhere in this category, this one will genuinely tolerate a room taking daily steam.
The strongest argument for a mirror like this is what it does not have. No LEDs, no defogger, no touch controls, no speaker. Those features are genuinely useful on the lit mirrors we have covered, but every one of them is a component that can fail on a product where none of them are replaceable.
A plain mirror in an aluminium frame has nothing to go wrong. It will look the same in fifteen years as it does on the day it goes up, which is not true of anything with electronics in it. If you already have good bathroom lighting, that simplicity is a feature rather than a compromise.
Weight is the omission that matters most here, and it is specific to the size. A 30 inch circle is a substantial piece of glass, and without a published figure you cannot judge whether ordinary wall plugs will hold it or whether you need to find a stud. Every other large mirror we have covered either publishes a weight or specifies its bracket type; this one does neither beyond confirming a hanger is fitted and screws are supplied.
Assume it is heavy, and fix accordingly. Over-specifying an anchor costs pennies; under-specifying one costs a mirror and a wall.
The glass specification is also loose, described only as high definition rather than confirmed as float, so reflection flatness is taken on trust rather than stated. Customer photographs are the practical check.

The honest take
What we like
- A circle has no corners to compete with a room full of straight lines
- No orientation to decide, unlike rectangles and arches
- 30 inches is large enough to open up a hallway or small bathroom
- Aluminium cannot rust, so it genuinely suits a steamy bathroom
- Nothing electronic to fail, so it will outlast every lit mirror here
- Hanger pre-installed with screws included
Worth knowing
- Glass called high definition but float is not confirmed
- No glass thickness given, and thin glass flexes and distorts once mounted
- No backing material stated, which protects silvering from moisture
- No weight published, which matters for fixings on a 30 inch mirror
- No lighting, so you rely entirely on existing room light
