Given the low leverage this shelf generates, one solid fixing plus quality anchors is a reasonable arrangement here in a way it would not be on a deeper shelf.

The listing suggests staggering the pair at different heights rather than mounting them level. That is sound advice for a set of two, since two identical shelves side by side at the same height read as a single interrupted line, where offsetting them gives a wall some movement.

One thing worth noting: the specification field lists the material as engineered wood and the finish as matte, while a bullet describes MDF with PVC. Those agree rather than conflict, but the shelf is board with a plastic wrap rather than any kind of solid timber.
